There has been so much talk about Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets and almost all of it has been negative.
Obviously, he created a huge controversy and was even suspended from the league for his social media actions weeks ago.
Additionally, people were wondering how loyal he was to the team after news leaked of him wanting to be traded last summer.
But Irving has been back with the team for weeks now and he seems very dedicated to helping them win.

Irving has been averaging 26.2 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists a game, shooting 49.7% from the field and 36.5% from the three.
He has not participated in 26 of the team’s 36 games and is posting incredible numbers.
Does this mean that he’s in the running for another All-Star appearance?
It has been a couple of seasons since Irving was in the All-Star game.
Back in 2020-21, he was voted in after averaging 26.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6 assists a game.
As you can see, he is basically matching those numbers this season, which means that he’s definitely someone that All-Star voters will think about and consider.
However, he actually averaged 27.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 5.8 assists last season and he ended up missing the All-Star game.
So, yet another appearance might not be guaranteed.
Still, Irving is making fans of the Nets proud and he is part of the team’s major successes lately.
Brooklyn is now the second-best team in the East and has had a huge bounce back from their disappointing start to the season.
Irving is a major factor in the team’s wins and he is erasing a lot of the bad memories and angry opinions that fans held about him.
