Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is easily one of the best NBA players alive and also one of the greatest to ever play the game.
But he’s not alone.
The league is currently filled with so many future Hall of Famers that it feels like we are living in a golden age of basketball.
It’s wild to think that so many of these terrific talents are playing at the same time and it’s also wild to think that these players are also very close and friendly with one another.

A certain photo making the rounds on Twitter put all of that in perspective.
The photo, posted in celebration of Curry’s recent birthday, shows a baby-faced Curry from years ago, shaking hands with a young Kevin Durant while Russell Westbrook and Jeff Green look on.
It’s a wild image because it makes all of us feel old and it’s also crazy to see the brightest future stars of the NBA all in one place, friendly and cordial just years before they were fighting for their own championship rings.
The Best Of The Best
All four of these guys have had very successful careers but there is no doubt that Curry and Durant have had the best times in the NBA.
Imagine if Curry and Durant knew back then that they would someday be playing on the same team – and winning the Finals together.
Did Curry have any idea that he would be the three-point champion of the league someday?
Did Westbrook have any clue he would hold the title of most triple-doubles in NBA history?
Did Durant suspect he would become the once-in-a-lifetime talent he is?
There is a lot going on in this one photo – so much potential packed into a single frame.
