The NBA trade deadline is approaching and Tuesday has already given fans two big deals to talk about.
First came the Portland Trail Blazers and New Orleans Pelicans centering a deal around CJ McCollum.
The Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings took it to a whole new level with a blockbuster deal featuring a handful of top talent.

The biggest news from the deal is that Domantas Sabonis is heading to Sacramento and 2020 first-round pick Tyrese Haliburton is heading to Indiana.
The NBA world is reacting to the news, while Kings fans lash out on Twitter over the fact Haliburton is moving to Indiana.
have the Kings seen Haliburton play?

NBA World Reacts To Blockbuster Deal
Kings fans notoriously have a rough relationship with ownership and team management.
Talent comes in, only to be forced out without any playoff success.
Haliburton is just the latest example and everyone is shocked.
I can’t believe the Kings just traded Tyrese Haliburton…

My God. I’m so sorry, Kings fans. Sabonis is a nice player but giving up Haliburton for him? Jesus. #NBA

It is always shocking when a team appears to be fleeced in a trade.
Time will tell if that is the case for the Kings, or if they actually made out well in this surprising deal.
Domantas Sabonis is very good, so that’s important for the Kings, but absolutely would not have traded Tyrese Haliburton for him. Great pickup by the Pacers, whew.

Nobody won in that Pacers-Kings trade.

This trade is also fascinating because it involves two teams out of playoff contention.
Both should be trying to gear up for the future, but instead swapped a bunch of players with no top picks going either way.
Essentially, each front office thinks they got the better end of the deal while the other thinks they dumped some failing talent.
It is bizarre on all fronts and that is why the reaction is so strong on social media.
The Pacers made out like bandits.
The Kings should be relegated for trading Tyrese Haliburton foe Sabonis.

For now, most fans seem to be under the impression the Pacers robbed the Kings by landing Haliburton.
All Kings fans can do is put on a brave face and hope Sabonis ends up being a superstar in Sacramento.
