It looks like the tables have turned in the best way for fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves.
For several years now, these teams have floundered at the bottom of their respective standings.
And while the chances of them making the Finals this year aren’t very high, they are doing much better than they have in seasons.
When you look at the progress they have made, you can’t help but be impressed.

During the previous two seasons, the Cavs won 41 games combined.
This year alone, they’ve declared victory 43 times.
As for the Timberwolves, they won a total of 42 games between the last two seasons.
This season, they have won 45 games.
Although they have both come a long way, both teams are intent on stepping it up even more.
What’s Next?
Right now the Cavaliers are seventh in the East.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves are seventh in the West.
Those positions are much better than what the Cavs and T-Wolves are used to but it’s far from being in contention for the Finals.
It seems that both teams need just one or two missing pieces to become a complete picture and be Finals-ready.
They also need to stay healthy too.
The Cavaliers have particularly had a hard time staying in good shape this year.
Right now they are missing a couple of their biggest stars, including rookie Evan Mobley and center Jarrett Allen.
But there is no doubt the Cavs can bounce back, especially because they are such a young team.
As for the Wolves, they need stars like Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards, and D’Angelo Russell to push themselves and grow as players and leaders.
If the Cavs and Timberwolves keep going hard like they have this season, they could be battling out in the Finals within a few years.
