That’s a big deal and it is something that will be especially important in the days and weeks ahead – especially if they really do match up in the Finals against each other.
The Golden State Versus The Sunshine State
Winning at home is a super important thing to do all season long but especially in the postseason.
When you are playing seven-game series, you need to secure every victory you can.
The best of seven games wins so each team needs to deliver victory when they are playing for their home crowd,
All season long, the Heat and Warriors have been two teams that have consistently played very well at home.
Home-court advantage seems to be real, especially for these teams.
If this pattern holds up, both teams will be facing tough competition moving forward.
Remember, they will need to make it through one more round before they can compete in the Finals.
And when those Finals come, they also promise to be very close and neck-and-neck for every game.
A Warriors-Heat Finals is not a foregone conclusion and a lot can happen between now and then.
