The ejection of Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors was the talk of the NBA world on Sunday.
Green’s foul came right as the first half against the Memphis Grizzlies came to a close.
The game was close and every player was pouring their hearts into it.
As Grizzlies star Brandon Clarke went up for a rebound, Green grabbed hold of his jersey collar and threw him to the ground.
It was definitely a foul and no one was denying that.
But many people were shocked when the refs decided it was a Flagrant 2 foul, which meant Green was immediately being ejected.

Some people thought that foul would eventually be reduced to a common foul by the NBA.
However, that hasn’t happened: the league says that the Flagrant 2 will not be changed.
It will surely be a foul that is debated for weeks – if not months – ahead.
Debate Rages On
Green is no stranger to getting called for fouls.
He’s also no stranger to being a bit over the top and aggressive with his physical plays.
However, he claims that he didn’t mean to grab hold of Clarke’s jersey.
Rewatching the clip, it’s hard to see how it could be an unintentional move.
Yet, the call still seems a bit drastic.
There are many NBA fans who beg the refs to let teams play through.
They want the officials to avoid calling every physical interaction on the floor.
Those fans were out in full force on Sunday after Green’s foul.
Luckily for the Warriors, the team was able to push on without Green and they ended up securing a huge Game 1 victory.
The foul could have derailed the Warriors but instead, it only made them more determined.
