There has been a lot of attention paid to the number of powerful performers in the NBA this season.
Certain players have literally made history, like Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers.
Sunday was yet another example of just how great the NBA is right now.
As highlighted by theScore Bet on Twitter, there were 18 players with over 30+ points during Sunday’s slate of games.

This was the most ever in a single day during the history of the NBA, according to StatMuse.
Some of the usual suspects ended up on the list, including Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers, Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, and Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers.
It is important to note that most of the athletes on this list were winners on Sunday.
However, others like Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics and Kyrie Irving of the Mavs walked away with a tough loss.
This just goes to show that we really are in a golden era of scorers in the league.
Point totals have been a topic of conversation all season long.
So far in 2022-23, we have had guys like Lillard reach new heights, others like Mitchell set records for his team, and players like LeBron James secure the most all-time points in the history of the league.
While fans have been very happy to see their favorite players do so well, this season has also cemented the fact that even if someone scores more than 30 points, they might not always win.
The league has become so competitive that more than 30 points doesn’t guarantee victory.
