NBA fans all over the world had their eyes firmly set on LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night, as the four-time champion finally secured the top-scoring title.
By sinking his 38,3888th point, James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who had held the honor of being the league’s top scorer for decades now.
Abdul-Jabbar was on hand to officially hand the title over to James, while family, friends, and major celebrities sat courtside cheering.
But there were many important NBA figures who were watching in awe from different parts of the country.
On Tuesday night, the accolades came pouring in from the men who regularly attempt to stop James from scoring.
Chris Paul of the Phoenix Suns, one of James’ closest friends, sent out his love via tweet.
