With Aaron Judge being the top free agent out on the market, a few suitors have emerged.
Obviously, the New York Yankees are one of them, but the San Francisco Giants are also a team that is said to be in on the AL MVP.
Judge recently met with the Giants in San Francisco.
But all of this started when NBA star Stephen Curry made a pitch to Judge about coming to play in the Bay.
Curry was recently asked about his pitch to Judge for coming to play in San Francisco, and his comments were rather surprising.
“Let’s put it this way,” said Curry.
“I am doing my part as a loyal Red Sox fan.”

Steph’s Pitch To Judge
Curry is in fact a fan of the Boston Red Sox when he’s not draining threes for the Golden State Warriors.
A picture in the tweet above shows Curry hanging around David Ortiz in the Red Sox clubhouse.
So while Curry would certainly like to add a superstar to the Bay Area sports scene, he has some ulterior motives.
As a Red Sox fan, he is tired of watching Judge crush Red Sox pitching whenever his team matches up against the Yankees.
Any Red Sox fan in their right mind would feel the same way.
But in addition to Curry wanting to see the AL MVP play in San Francisco, he’s simply doing it because he wants one less obstacle for his Red Sox.
We’ll see if Curry’s pitch pays off and if the Giants can steal Judge away from the Yankees.
