The NBA Play-In Tournament has definitely been a bit controversial since its inception a couple of seasons ago.
It’s also created quite a few fireworks and has added energy and excitement to the league.
This year’s Play-In Tournament might end up being the biggest one yet with some of the most well-known stars.

The tournament, which starts in just 50 days, might feature stars such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Karl-Anthony Towns, Fred VanVleet, and more.
That means that some players who have already won multiple rings and other promising young guys could be competing against each other to stay alive in the postseason.
Play-In Madness
Created in the Orlando bubble at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Play-In Tournament includes teams seven through ten in both the Eastern and Western Conferences.
These teams battle it out in just a few games to secure the seventh and eighth seeds in the playoffs.
This year’s NBA is filled with certain teams who are surprisingly struggling.
The Los Angeles Lakers are the most well-known of these teams, as they are clinging to the ninth spot in the West.
At the same time, the Brooklyn Nets have recently collapsed without Durant and are eighth in the East with a record of 31-28.
Meanwhile, last year’s breakout team, the Atlanta Hawks with Trae Young, are sitting in tenth place while the up-and-coming Charlotte Hornets led by LaMelo Ball are ninth.
All of this means that Play-In Tournament will be dramatic and explosive and will surely lead to some of the biggest names in the game missing the postseason.
Now the only question is: Which superstars won’t make the cut?
