It’s hard to summarize the exhilaration around Kevin Durant moving to the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns were already an exciting team but the addition of Durant took things to a whole other level and they are now one of the most talked-about franchises not only in the Western Conference but all of the NBA.
The acquisition of Durant even has some of his biggest critics optimistic about what he can do.
Former Suns legend Charles Barkley has never gone easy on Durant, constantly talking about his work ethic and personality on and off the court.
But Barkley admitted that Durant is built differently and is one of the best players around.
“He’s a little baby a lot of times, but he’s a great player.”

“He’s a little baby a lot of times but he’s a great player,” Barkley told Bally Sports, adding that he hopes Durant finds a lot of success in Phoenix and helps his former team thrive.
There is every reason to believe that he will.
Durant is averaging 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists a game on a strong 55.9% from the field.
If he is able to bring those numbers to Phoenix, he is going to enhance their chances of making the Finals.
That’s the plan and anything less than a great postseason will have people wondering if this trade was worth it.
The Suns understandably gave up a lot to land Durant so they will want almost immediate success.
They are currently waiting for Durant to make his debut in Phoenix.
He is recovering from an injury and should start playing for his new team within the next few weeks.
