The NBA season is coming to an end, but the best is yet to come.
This season has been one of the wildest we’ve seen in years, and the playoff seeding is the ultimate proof of that.
As things stand now, the top three seeds in the Western Conference will be the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies, and Sacramento Kings.
Neither of those three teams have any sort of championship experience or postseason pedigree, which is why some believe the door is wide open for a bottom-seed team to go the distance.
That includes ESPN analyst Brian Windhorst.
In the latest edition of Get Up, Windhorst stated that Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry “smell weakness” in the West, which is why they’re not scared to go against anybody.

Windhorst stated that LeBron is only coming back while injured because he knows there’s a chance to win a ring despite being a play-in team, adding that the Warriors know they can go back-to-back despite having to win four playoff series on the road.
Of course, there’s always a chance the Nuggets, Grizzlies, or Kings wind up taking a step forward and proving just why they were the top-three seeds in the first place, but they’ll have to get past the guys who have been there over and over in order to do that.
The West could be a bit of a mess, and there’s no clear favorite to make the NBA Finals this season, and this is why we love this league so much.NEXT: Jay Williams Names His Top 5 NBA Duos Under Pressure To Win Title
