On Wednesday night, the Phoenix Suns will get superstar forward Kevin Durant back on the floor after battling his latest injury.
Durant played three games for the Suns before going down with a freak injury in warm-ups that kept him sidelined for the last 10 games.
Shams Charania of The Athletic believes the Suns, with Durant in the lineup alongside Devin Booker and Chris Paul, look “unstoppable” and are a serious threat in the Western Conference come playoff time.

Kyrie Irving asked the Brooklyn Nets to trade him ahead of the NBA trade deadline, leading to speculation on whether Durant would want out.
After Irving was dealt to the Dallas Mavericks, Durant forced his way out and landed where many believed he wanted to be: Phoenix.
If Durant can stay healthy, the Suns are definitely one of the better teams in the West heading into the postseason.
The Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings may sit atop the standings in the conference, but the three-headed monster of Durant, Booker and Paul, along with Deandre Ayton, will be tough to beat in a seven-game series.
Health is the major issue moving forward for the Suns, with Paul always a question mark come playoff time and Durant’s recent battles with injury issues.
It’s safe to say the heavyweights in the West aren’t all that happy about the news of Durant’s return ahead of the postseason, as it is definitely changing the outlook of the conference and which team no one will want to face in any round of the playoffs.
