The Miami Heat are about to get some help from a two-time All-Star after a year of him being away.
It is being reported that Victor Oladipo is set to return to the Heat on Monday’s game against Oladipo’s former team, the Houston Rockets.
Oladipo is making a full recovery and return from a quad tendon injury in April 2021 – with his comeback game versus the Rockets franchise that traded him to Miami last trade deadline. https://t.co/q6XDgM33tl

The road to recovery has been a long one for Oladipo, who suffered a quad tendon injury in April of last year and rehabbing ever since then.
Oladipo recently played in three practices with the G League’s Sioux Falls Skyforce as he got himself prepared to be back in the NBA.
It might be a little while before Oladipo is playing like he once was but he could give the team a big boost just as the postseason approaches.
Heat Getting Hot
The Heat are currently the number one team in the East, with a record of 42-22.
The chances of them making the NBA Finals are extremely high.
Oladipo entering the picture will only help the Heat.
It’s been a few years since Oladipo was fully healthy but the last time he was, he created 23.1 points and 2.4 steals a game while shooting 47 percent from the field and 37 percent from beyond the three-point line.
Last year, Oladipo was all over the league, playing for the Indiana Pacers, the Rockets, and finally the Heat while averaging 19.8 points for the 33 games he was able to participate in.
The hope is that Oladipo will be a reliable bench player who can be a backup point guard behind Kyle Lowry.
If he finds his rhythm and plays like he used to, the Heat will only get better and stronger and scarier to their opponents.
