The Denver Nuggets are making moves ahead of this year’s draft.
They already have one of the best players in the league with Nikola Jokic but they are still trying to add more talent to create more depth and talent.
Part of that plan involves making trades with other teams ahead of the upcoming draft.

It is being reported that the Nuggets are trading JaMychal Green and a protected 2027 first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
That will bring them the number 30 pick in the draft as well as two future second-round picks.
The Nuggets now have the 21st and 30th pick in this draft.
As Kevin O’Connor puts it, they are now a candidate to move up in the draft.
Moving Pieces
It’s hard to see what Denver’s endgame is here.
Are they planning to actually get some draft picks or will they cash out their picks in order to move up higher in the draft or possibly land a star from another team?
Obviously, they aren’t saying what they angling for but they’re definitely not sitting still.
This all comes just months before they could be very competitive again.
For the last year, they have been relying a lot on Jokic but their fate could be changing next season.
That’s because both Michael Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray are scheduled to return to the team after lengthy absences.
With them back alongside Jokic, this will be a team to keep an eye on.
If the front office is able to convert these draft picks into something even more special, the team will only get better.
Denver fans have been waiting for ages for their squad to be remarkable and capable of getting to the Finals.
Are they about to get their wish?
