The NBA trade deadline is less than a week away, meaning the rumors will flood social media at a drastic rate.
For the first time in years, both conferences are up for grabs, as there’s not that much of a difference in playoff-bound team records, especially in the West.
So, it’s hard to tell which teams will be buyers or sellers ahead of the deadline, as most franchises still have a shot at making at least the play-in tournament.
Even so, we can already be sure that some big names will be on the move, either because of their contract situation, their team’s status, or the fact that they don’t want to be there anymore.
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, we can expect the Toronto Raptors duo of Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby to be moved, as well as Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins and the Phoenix Suns’ Jae Crowder, who hasn’t played this season after demanding a trade.

Other names that have been thrown around as potential trade candidates are Fred VanVleet, Gary Trent Jr., Gordon Hayward, Kyle Kuzma, D’Angelo Russell, Immanuel Quickley, Bojan Bogdanovic, Buddy Hield, Jordan Clarkson, Mike Conley, Jakob Poeltl, Josh Hart, Jusuf Nurkic, Jerami Grant, Caris LeVert, Nikola Vucevic, Malik Beasley, and Bones Hyland.
Of course, there’s also the possibility of a blockbuster move as well, with Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan as potential candidates.
Whatever the case, all things point to plenty of action in the league next week, so you better stay tuned.
