There has been a lot of talk about Dwight Howard and his future in the Hall of Fame lately.
Obviously, making it into the Hall of Fame is a life-changing honor that only a few NBA players get to have.
It means that you’re one of the best to ever do it and you’re an unparalleled talent that will be worthy of celebration forever.
Will Howard make the cut?
He recently spoke out, saying how much he believes he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
Dwight Howard being a Hall of Famer isn’t really a question, right? He’s a no doubt first ballot guy. He was completely dominant for a decade. Not sure if he really believes making the HoF is actually in doubt.

Keith Smith agrees and thinks Howard’s inclusion is a no-brainer.
“Dwight Howard being a Hall of Famer isn’t really a question, right? He’s a no doubt first ballot guy. He was completely dominant for a decade. Not sure if he really believes making the HoF is actually in doubt,” Smith said on Twitter.
It’s a fair point: Howard might have some anxieties and concerns about getting his spot in the Hall but he should rest easy knowing his place in the history books is secure.
Howard In The Hall
It’s been a while since he led a team, but Howard used to be very consistent and made it to eight straight All-Star Games.
He also won a championship title with the Lakers back in 2020 and helped get the Orlando Magic to the Finals back in 2009.
Perhaps Howard fears he won’t be inducted because he is more of a role player now but that is truly part of what makes him outstanding.
He changed his career in a very pragmatic way, taking a back seat to other guys on his squad and playing to his strengths.
Howard has had quite the journey, with many bumps in the road, and it’s definitely worthy of the Hall of Fame.
