On this big day, it’s great to look back and see the sort of impact Wade had.
He won 3 championships with his Miami Heat, was Finals MVP once, was a 13-time All-Star, 8-time All-NBA player, 3-time All-Defensive star, scoring champion, and a member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.
Wade played with some of the biggest stars in history, such as LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal, and all of them commend Wade for the way that he played and led his team.
Wade spend nearly all of his time in the NBA with the Heat, where he earned all of his All-Star appearances.
He also played, briefly, for the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers.
For his career, Wade averaged 22 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.4 assists on 48% from the floor.
He’s one of those players who not only played incredibly well but he also led his squad too.
His leadership skills and his personality are still spoken of today
Since retiring from the league after the 2018-19 season, Wade has not disappeared from the spotlight.
He is now seen giving commentary for games and hosting television shows.
That personality that served him so well on the court is leading to a lot of success with these new positions.
The Miami Heat have seen many icons play for them but Wade is easily one of the top-five players who has ever suited up for them.
