The annual NBA GM survey was recently released, giving insight into who front offices throughout the league view as the biggest and best in the association.
When it comes to point guards, the consensus is clear: Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is the greatest PG.
He took the vast majority of the vote with 72%, while Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks garnered 14%, Chris Paul of the Phoenix Suns secured 10%, and Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks got 3%.
These totals shouldn’t surprise anyone since Curry, after all these years, is still an unstoppable superstar.
Curry In Control
Curry just won his fourth NBA championship and finally earned his very first Finals MVP trophy.
He also had a banner 2021-22 season, becoming the all-time greatest three-point shooter.
In other words, Curry has been on fire lately and general managers across the league are well aware of that.
Curry has also maintained his status as the Warriors’ leader, expertly calling plays, finding other players, and setting the tempo for his team.
The rest of the players on this list are looking to surpass Curry, especially Doncic.
A large number of voters in multiple polls believe that Doncic is on the verge of his very own MVP year and could be better than ever when the new season tips off.
Will Curry still sit atop this list when next season starts?
