Most of the stars in the NBA are friends at the end of the day, even when they are playing their hearts out against one another.
But that doesn’t mean there haven’t been some really intense fights on the court.
Fights between players are common but they usually don’t get too out of hand, thanks to other athletes, referees, and their coaching staffs.
But sometimes things boil over and are nearly impossible to stop.

Four years ago, one of the craziest fights in the NBA took place.
It featured a few of the biggest names in the game and got incredibly heated incredibly fast.
The near-brawl went down between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets at the Staples Center.
It all started when James Harden and Brandon Ingram got testy with one another under the basket.
Before long, Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo were coming to blows before being pulled apart by LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and others.
Tensions ran high and for one brief moment, it felt like things were getting out of control.
People are still talking about this fight years later.
Heated Against Houston
There are a few memorable things about this fight.
Firstly, look at all the talent on the court at once.
Some people forget all of these guys played for these teams at one point.
Secondly, this fight is noteworthy because of how it starts and then how it develops.
What started as something between Harden and Ingram somehow became something else between Paul and Rondo.
It was all very confusing and shocking and had fans around the league talking for some time.
Cooler heads eventually prevailed but all of it led to one intense night in LA.
