Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have dominated the league for the past decade or so.
Curry was a bit of a late-bloomer, as he had to overcome multiple ankle injuries and issues before unleashing his full potential as the superstar we know him to be nowadays.
But once the Dubs took over, they became the team to beat and set the standard for what a successful franchise was.
Even so, some still refused to acknowledge that Curry was the best point guard in the game.
Instead, some purists leaned towards Chris Paul, whose résumé might as well back his case up.
Curry and Paul have starred in some epic one-on-one battles throughout their careers, including that one time that Steph made CP3 touch the floor when he was still playing for the Clippers.
Now, years after that viral clip, Steph got the best of his veteran colleague once again, being more physical and taking him all the way to the rim for an and-one.
Steph then let CP3 know who the man was, telling him that “this ain’t 2014 no more,” and once again going viral.
"This ain't 2014 no more."

Of course, we know that there’s no bad blood between Paul and Curry.
This was just some trash-talking between veterans in the heat of the moment, but fans still had plenty to say about it.

CP & the Rockets would’ve beat this clown & his super team with KD if he didn’t get hurt in that WCF series lmao

At the end of the day, both players will be first-ballot Hall of Famers.
They both defined and ruled their position when they were at their best, and it’s been a privilege to watch them battle so many times.
