Most NBA fans remember Shawn Kemp for being a physical force with the Seattle Supersonics.
He was a walking highlight reel and one of the most powerful and impressive in-game dunkers the game of basketball has ever seen, and he played a pivotal role in the 90s.
Now, unfortunately, the former All-Star is making the rounds for news completely unrelated to basketball, as he was once again on the wrong side of the law.
Kemp was arrested and booked on Wednesday in a Pierce County jail in Washington after being linked to a drive-by shooting.

Tacoma police reported that an altercation between two people at the Tacoma Mall led to shots being fired, with Kemp as the alleged shooter.
And even though there were no casualties and the other driver fled the scene, Kemp was still caught on tape and later booked after the incident.
The investigation is ongoing as we speak.
Notably, fans had plenty to say about this situation.

The 53-year-old was a six-time All-Star and a guy so good that the Chicago Bulls almost traded Scottie Pippen to pair him with Michael Jordan.
He entered the NBA as the 17th overall pick in the 1989 Draft, spending 14 seasons in the league and making it to three All-NBA Second Teams.
Kemp retired with averages of 14.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game, but he later struggled to keep his life on track, being involved in multiple drug-related scandals.
