The NBA is lucky to have many of its legendary players still around the game.
One of the best shows with NBA legends is Inside The NBA on TNT.
That features Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley.
Shaq sparked some concern for many NBA fans when he released a tweet of him in a hospital bed.
But, it appears the Hall of Famer was undergoing a planned surgery on his hip.

Shaq has become every bit as loved off the court as he was on the court.
Many people always recognized him as a jokester, and he brings that same personality to TV.

After all the years of running up and down the court, needing a new hip should not be a surprise.
We have seen plenty of players get surgery after their playing careers are over.
That seems to be the case with Shaq here.

Hopefully, he will be able to move around better than ever once he is fully recovered.
Shaq is not only known for being a great basketball player, but he is also a great person.
He has done many great things for people in need and has become an inspiration for many.
