The NBA All-Star Game received a lot of attention this year but not for the right reasons.
While there were plenty of people satisfied with the big game, there were many others who felt that it was lacking, boring, and didn’t feature players trying their hardest.
All in all, the reviews for the game were harsh and have led to speculation that things could change in the future.
As shared by NBACentral, NBA Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum suggested that some “tweaks” are coming for the All-Star Game.
“We have to look at the All-Star Game and make some tweaks and continue to ensure that it’s an entertaining product for the fans out there,” Tatum said, via Eurohoops.

While Tatum stayed mum about what those tweaks might be, NBA followers on Twitter were quick to suggest a few things.
One fan made a lighthearted comment that the NBA should try East versus West with four 12-minute quarters.
In other words, the league should make the All-Star Game a regular game of basketball.
This is something that many fans are pleading for.
Maybe you should try
east vs. west
4, 12 minute quarters
Players wear their teams uniforms with an all star game patch.
That should do it.

Others think that things should change drastically.
Twitter user Tony Rubino wants a one-on-one match between two of the best players in the league, for example.
One on one matchups would be dope.

Meanwhile, some think that any tweaks to the All-Star Game are a lost cause because the players aren’t motivated to perform well.
“Nothing you can do. Nobody is trying to get hurt playing an exhibition game,” a fan said.

Another individual added, “They need to put something on the line that actually matters to players or else they will just not take it seriously.”
They need to put something on the line that actually matters to Players or else they will just not take it seriously. I do think next year it’s gonna be better tho Because this was a real wake up call of how trash the ASG has gotten the last few years

There were countless fanatical followers of the league who were unhappy with the recent All-Star Game and they are crying out for change.
It sounds like the NBA heard those complaints loudly.
They are now cooking up some sort of alterations to make it more enjoyable and competitive in the future.
However, we have to wait and see what those alterations are.
