NBA Announces An Exciting International Game In 2023

The Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons are headed overseas.

It was recently announced by the NBA that both teams would be part of the NBA Paris Game 2023.

The Bulls and Pistons will face off in a regular-season game at the Accor Arena in Paris, France on Thursday, January 19, 2023.

This is yet another example of the NBA branching out and expanding its international reach.

It’s also likely to be one of a few global games announced by the league in the months and years ahead.

Chicago In The City Of Love

This game won’t be the first time two NBA teams play against each other in Paris.

In fact, back in January of 2020, the Milwaukee Bucks won over the Charlotte Hornets at the Accor Arena.

Over the last few years, there have been quite a few international games.

Most of them have been in Mexico City, featuring the San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and Pistons.

But the idea of playing games overseas isn’t a new one.

The first overseas regular-season NBA game was back in 1990, when the Suns took on the Utah Jazz in Tokyo.

Since then the NBA has sent its teams all over the world for a few regular-season games.

This is a great way to raise awareness about the league throughout the world.

It is also a way to create interest by young, up-and-coming players all over the globe.

It’s no coincidence that there are more international players in the league than ever before.

Games like the planned one in Paris will not only lead to ratings and headlines, it will lead to future players who come to the NBA from every country.

Commissioner Adam Silver has said making basketball an international game would be a priority for him.

The scheduled game in Paris shows that’s true.
