Right now it seems like everyone around the NBA is talking about Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets.
That has actually been the case for some time now.
People have been talking ever since it was announced that Durant wants to leave the team.
Tensions within the team and its front office are rising and opinions about Durant are flying hot and fast online.
The other day, news leaked that Durant had just reiterated his desire to leave the team.
He demanded that or to see both head coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks be fired.
Nets owner Joe Tsai publicly supported his coaching staff.
This seemingly shut down Durant’s demands and created a brand new firestorm of controversy.
Justin Termine summed up his opinion on the matter, and it’s one that is shared by many others.
Good for Joe Tsai.
The Nets let Durant make decisions for 3 years, & it led to one playoff series win & one controversy after another.
Why let him keep making more? He clearly doesn’t know how to run a team. https://t.co/btSw0d3hA3

“Good for Joe Tsai,” Termine said.
He continued: “The Nets let Durant make decisions for 3 years, & it led to one playoff series win & one controversy after another.”
He concluded: “Why let him keep making more? He clearly doesn’t know how to run a team.”
Sure enough, Durant has had his way with Brooklyn for some time so you can’t blame Tsai for pushing back this time.
Are Durant’s Days Done?
The Nets are in a tough spot right now: obviously, they aren’t going to give into Durant’s demands but they don’t want to trade him either.
So, is there a chance that everyone can get along?
It remains to be seen how hard Durant will make this situation for his team but it’s hard to see him sitting on the bench until he gets his way as Ben Simmons did with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Right now, both sides are in a tough, stiff stalemate.
