Ja Morant and his Memphis Grizzlies are finally making a name for themselves in the NBA playoffs.
They have been fighting hard and pushing themselves to make it this far for months now and it’s paying off.
They are currently doing great work against the Golden State Warriors in a 1-1 series that has seen its fair share of fireworks.
A pivotal part of it all has been Morant, who has the entire NBA world talking.

Morant is averaging 26.3 points, 10.1 assists, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game in these playoffs.
As Justin Lewis noted, no other player is even averaging 25-8-8-1 in the playoffs.
It remains to be seen how the postseason ends for the Grizzlies but, as of now, Morant is the breakout star of these playoffs.
Finals MVP?
Morant and his team have had an eye on the Finals all season long.
It’s been very obvious that they wanted to win the entire season this year.
Morant has been on fire since the very beginning, averaging 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.7 assists.
He earned the 2021-22 Most Improved Player of the Year award and was in talks to land his first MVP trophy too.
The team is solid without Morant, too, and that’s a huge part of its success.
Between Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr, Brandon Clarke, and others, the Grizzlies have one of the strongest, most reliable rosters in the league.
Some teams crack under the pressure of the playoffs – it can really make or break a squad.
Morant, on the other hand, has stepped up in the postseason, looking to prove that he is the real deal and has what it takes to go all the way to the Finals.
If people weren’t aware of him before, they certainly are now.
