Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns has made a lot of fans – and enemies – during his impressive NBA career.
The shooting guard is a three-time All-Star and was All-NBA too so he obviously has great talent.
His career average of 23.5 points a game also proves that.
He’s also got a lot of fans within the league.
Chris Paul and Kevin Durant — two of the greatest EVER — have both wanted to play with Devin Booker. Tells you all you need to know about Book!!! #Suns
— Jordan Schultz (@Schultz_Report) July 5, 2022
Jordan Schultz highlighted that both Chris Paul and Kevin Durant, who are “two of the greatest EVER” according to him, have both wanted to play alongside Booker.
“Tells you all you need to know about Book!!!” Schultz added.
Is Schultz right and if he is then why are they so many detractors railing against him?
The Good Book
No one can deny his talent and his ability on the floor.
Booker is definitely a terrific talent who has proven his greatness.
Yet, there are some who don’t like his attitude and personality: they think he’s cocky and egotistical.
But if you were putting up 23 points a night, wouldn’t you feel the same way about yourself?
There is ego in every major NBA star, it’s partly why they are able to believe in themselves and expect the very best.
All Booker haters should ask themselves this: how would they feel with him on their team?
As for Durant playing alongside Booker, it’s unlikely that will happen: even if the Suns were able to secure Durant, they’d probably have to send Booker to Brooklyn in the deal.
But maybe not; the Suns and Nets might be able to put something together that keeps Booker on the team with Durant in tow too.
If that happens, Durant will get his wish – and Suns fans will be beyond excited.
