There was a time when people spoke of Dennis Schroder as one of the most promising guards in all of the NBA.
During his first few years with the Atlanta Hawks and Oklahoma City Thunder, Schroder was putting up double-digits every single night and played with speed, efficiency, and serious energy.
But over the last few years, we haven’t heard much about Schroder, as he has spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, and the Houston Rockets.

Yet, Schroder – who is currently playing for his home country of Germany in the FIBA Eurobasket tournament – is still a great player, as proven by recent footage of him on the court.
Schroder can still move, he can still score, and he can still be a powerful asset for his team.
But he is still a free agent in the NBA.
Will another team decide to sign Schroder?
Schroder Shooting For A Spot
Schroder was most recently a member of the Rockets.
But he is a free agent, which means that he could easily be offered a new deal from another team.
There was a time when it seemed like the Lakers could possibly re-acquire Schroder but then they went and signed Patrick Beverley and that seemingly put an end to their pursuit of him.
But there are plenty of other teams who would be smart to get Schroder and use him as either a starting guard or a bench player.
The young man is just 28 and still has quite a few years left in him.
All he needs is a place to shine and a team that believes in him once again.
