We would all be excited for the new NBA season even if it was one like any other.
But the truth is that the upcoming season, starting in just a couple of weeks, will not be like others, mostly because some of the biggest names in the league are returning after a long time away.
The start of the new season will mark the re-arrival of multiple major players who have all been suffering from injuries or have sat on the bench for one reason or another over the last season.

Among the stars who are coming back to the league are Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers, Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans, Ben Simmons of the Brooklyn Nets, Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets, John Wall of the Los Angeles Clippers, and James Wiseman of the Golden State Warriors.
The fans of each of their respective teams are counting down the moments until these players are back on the court.
Return Of The Kings
The two stars who are getting the most interest from NBA followers are Leonard and Williamson.
These are two ultra-impressive players who could quite literally change the fates of their teams.
Simmons and Wall need to show what they are capable of and silence the critics who are doubting them.
And Wiseman needs to build upon the promise he showed in his sole season with the Warriors.
Each of these players has a story to tell and each will garner a lot of attention.
And a few of them could have strong playoff runs.
In fact, one or two of them might even make the Finals.
