The New York Yankees got their man back.
Early Wednesday morning it was announced that Aaron Judge was re-signing with the Yankees for a massive nine-year, $360 million contract.
The move was at the top of the Yankees list this offseason.
Now, they have the face of their franchise and likely captain back.
However, the team likely isn’t done there.
Here are two more moves the team should make following the signing.
1. Sign Carlos Rodon
After pitcher Jameson Taillon signed with the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday, the Yankees need starting pitching depth.
Carlos Rodon is the top name left on the market and fills a big role the Yankees need.

The lefty has quietly been one of the best pitchers in baseball over the last few seasons.
Last year, he posted a 14-8 record with a 2.88 ERA.
He would slide into the Yankees rotation that already has two established arms in Gerrit Cole and Nestor Cortes Jr.
This would allow Rodon to not have the pressure of being an ace, and give him some protection in the rotation.
If the Yankees could make this move, their rotation would instantly become one of the best in baseball.
2. Trade For Bryan Reynolds
Bryan Reynolds has made it clear that he wants out of Pittsburgh.
While the Pirates haven’t said they are going to trade him, it would be surprising if he isn’t in a different uniform this year.
He would be nearly a perfect fit for the Yankees lineup.

After an All-Star 2021 campaign, Reynolds hit 27 home runs with a .262 average in 2022.
He is a switch hitter, and would provide the Yankees with balance that they don’t have.
He would also likely move to left field, giving the Yankees one of, if not the, best defensive outfields in the entire sport.
While it will cost a lot to acquire him, the Yankees will likely have their name in the conversation for Reynolds.
They should, as he would be the perfect addition to an already strong lineup.
