The Baltimore Orioles had just one player representing Team USA in this year’s World Baseball Classic.
That player is star outfielder Cedric Mullins.
Mullins announced late last season that he would be taking part in the WBC this year.
He now shares a roster with stars such as Trea Turner, Paul Goldschmidt, Pete Alonso, Mookie Betts, Nolan Arenado, J.T. Realmuto, Tim Anderson, and other stars.
But he isn’t the first member of the Orioles to make their mark on the WBC.
Six years ago, it was Orioles legend Adam Jones who did just that, making an impressive catch to rob his then-teammate Manny Machado of a home run.
On Twitter, the Orioles posted a photo of the two stars together.

Jones certainly made his mark on the WBC back in 2017.
His catch to rob Machado of a home run may have been the highlight of the entire tournament.
But the two star outfielders have both had the honor of competing with Team USA in an attempt to bring baseball glory back to the United States.
Team USA won it all in 2017 and now are on the cusp of delivering a repeat performance.
They picked up a huge 14-2 win over Cuba on Sunday night and will have a chance to grab the title on Tuesday.
The Americans are awaiting the winner of Monday night’s game between Team Japan and Team Mexico.
Jones got to experience the joy and excitement of the 2017 WBC when they won the title, and now Mullins may be able to do the same on Tuesday.
