The Los Angeles Dodgers just seem to get stronger every year.
They have the talent to win the World Series and each year they bring in more star power to try and make that dream a reality.
They won it all in 2020 and don’t appear to have taken their foot off the pedal.
Dealing for Trea Turner last year was a big step forward, but now they have Freddie Freeman on their side, as well as former All-Star closer Craig Kimbrel.
One MLB writer has a funny and interesting take on the Dodgers’ new stars, tweeting about how if you approached fans about this last year in June, there would have been no expectation that all all three of those guys would end up being Dodgers.
“Trea Turner drives in Freddie Freeman, setting the stage for a Craig Kimbrel in a save situation in the ninth."
Dodgers fans last June: WTF???

A Great Take
This is a funny take, but it’s also funny how these things work.
These guys were all in different uniforms last year.
Nobody would have thought that Turner would have been traded from the Washington Nationals and most around the game seemed to believe that Freeman was going to stay with the Atlanta Braves after becoming a free agent.
But lo and behold, here we are.
All three stars are members of the Dodgers, who are hellbent on winning another ring.
This is a team that is going to be difficult to stop in 2022 with all of the star power on their side.
The NL West is pretty much theirs for the taking.
But Dodger fans had no reason to suspect that all three of these guys would end up wearing Dodger blue at this point last year.
Again, it’s crazy how these things work.
Here they all are, members of the Dodgers.
