MLB Twitter Shows Off A Fun Side Of The Game

MLB fans love home runs.

The phrase “chicks did the long ball” will never cease to be relevant, and it’s because home runs are probably the main attraction of the game.

There is nothing like watching a batter hit a ball a mile, and watching the crowd go crazy.

As it turns out, home runs are also opportunities for players to get creative in celebrations.

Marcell Ozuna often uses the “selfie”, Ronald Acuna Jr. is popularizing the “Silencer”, while Carlos Correa points to his wrist to say “It’s my time!”.

There are celebrations in the dugouts, too.

Cut4 listed four of them and urged fans on Twitter to vote for the best.

This time, to be specific, they want to know which one is the best home run celebration accessory.

MLB Players Are Definitely A Creative Bunch

Just looking at the options, you can see how creative major league players are.

Los Angeles Angels players who hit a home run wear a cowboy hat, while the Boston Red Sox take a ride on the cart.

The home run jacket has become increasingly popular in the Toronto Blue Jays’ dugout (one of the most powerful lineups in baseball), while the Baltimore Orioles use a chain.

Every person has their favorite, but it’s good that there are so many options to enjoy.

Baseball is supposed to be fun, and while some of the most traditionalists may find these practices to be distasteful, most fans, especially younger audiences, are digging the home run accessories.

Did you imagine teammates giving a ride to a player on a cart, or a jacket being used to congratulate a player who has hit a home run?

That’s what we thought.
