Two stars dominated the past week in the MLB universe.
One of them is behind the latest Boston Red Sox’s surge, and the other headlines the Miami Marlins rotation.
Trevor Story and Sandy Alcantara, respectively, earned the deserving honor thanks to their unbeliveable play.

After getting off to a slow start because of his late signing with the Red Sox, Story is finally showing the kind of talent that earned him $140 million in free agency.
Many players don’t even hit six home runs over the course of a single season: Story hit them in one week.
Story Finally Started To Produce For Boston
It looks like once the first one came along, the others started to come in bunches.
Six homers and 14 RBI make for an incredible week.
Alcantara, meanwhile, won his two starts for the week and did it in style, showing a nearly flawless 0.53 ERA with 12 strikeouts in 17 innings.
The Marlins have a lot of talented young pitchers, but Alcantara is the best of the bunch: he is durable, he misses bats, and he keeps the ball on the ground.
That’s a good package for success.
The Red Sox’s second baseman is now hitting .226/.310/.438 with seven home runs, after failing to consistently hit over the course of the first few weeks.
Alcantara boasts a 2.11 ERA in 59.2 innings, and averages comfortably more than six frames per outing.
Hopefully, it’s the start of a turnaround for Story and some consolidation from Alcantara, who has the potential to finish among the league leaders in both innings and ERA this season.
