It’s almost time for baseball season.
It’s been a long and cold winter without any MLB action.
But on Friday, spring training games will get underway, and the excitement of a new season will continue to build.
And before long, Opening Day will be here.
For now, we can enjoy the excitement of spring camp.
Players and fans alike are excited to get going and enjoy their favorite time of year.
On Twitter, MLB posted a collage of photos featuring players from several teams in the Cactus League, who were all smiles at spring training and ready to get going for another season.

The photos include AL Rookie of the Year Julio Rodriguez, Bobby Witt Jr, Kris Bryant, and J.P. Crawford, all of whom seem excited for another season of baseball.
The weather is getting warmer, and the grass is getting greener.
And when the weather warms up, it can only mean that baseball is on the way and will be back before we know it.
The players are certainly excited to get out and compete again for another 162-game grind.
Their moods simply reflect those of fans who have been waiting all winter just to see baseball make its return.
This time, there was no lockout to keep things on hold.
Everything proceeded as normal this winter and ultimately led to spring training being normal for the first time since 2019.
Baseball is back, and fans and players alike are all smiles as we move closer to the beginning of the 2023 season.
