Well, here we are.
Today is the day.
Baseball is finally back.
We waited through a 99-day lockout that seemed like an eternity.
We’ve waited 4 1/2 months for MLB to finally return.
But that day is today.
Baseball is back, and we have a number of spring training games coming our way today and tomorrow to kick off 2022.
We don’t have to keep talking about labor disputes and proposals going back and forth between MLB and the MLBPA.
That time is over, at least for now.
So baseball fans, get hyped, because the offseason is officially over and we’ve got baseball on the schedule for the first time since November 2.

Time To Get Going
It’s been hard for fans and players alike to sit through the lockout and have free agency, trades, and other transactions put on hold.
It’s hard enough to not have any baseball, but the lockout sure made it worse.
Today, we can finally get back to watching the grand old game, whether we’re in the stands or sitting in our living rooms watching the games on TV.
Opening Day is just three weeks away.
But it’s truly great to have our national pastime back.
We’ve waited through a long and difficult winter, missing our great sport and just itching for anything baseball related to come.
But we don’t have to wait any longer.
The start of baseball season always brings hope and joy to fans and players alike, and after a long lockout, that feeling is stronger than ever.
Baseball has always been there to distract us from anything negative in the world, to remind us of good things, and now that it’s back, we can rejoice and bask in the feeling of hope for the new season.
