This past week, most everyone celebrated a time-honored tradition when Thanksgiving Day rolled around.
Thanksgiving is of course one of the main holidays that takes place during the year, and it is a day for people to come together, either as family or friends to celebrate by eating a lot of turkey and stuffing and discussing what they are thankful for.
But in baseball, there is always a lot to be thankful for.
Clutch hits, towering home runs, epic bat flips, no-hitters, perfect games, and clinching games all fall into that category.
On Thursday, MLB took to Twitter to wish the fans a Happy Thanksgiving.
Thankful for our great game and fans.

MLB Moments To Be Thankful For
There was certainly a lot to be thankful for in 2022.
First, we had Aaron Judge breaking a home run record that had stood for over six decades.
Then of course, there was Shohei Ohtani, who put together yet another MVP-worthy season, dominating on the mound and at the plate.
Justin Verlander returned to form after missing almost two full seasons recovering from Tommy John surgery.
Paul Goldschmidt certainly gave fans of the St. Louis Cardinals a lot to be thankful for with his MVP season.
But perhaps the moment that fans in all walks of life can be thankful for was Albert Pujols‘ 700th home run.
In his final season, Pujols went on a tear in the second half.
Fans all over the world were captivated by the milestone he was chasing, and on September 23, he hit the home run heard around the world.
But in the grand scheme of things, baseball as a whole is something to be thankful for, and it’s a gift that keeps on giving.
