MLB Reporter Notes Hilarious Clayton Kershaw Habit

There’s a rather interesting, yet absolutely hilarious trend that has been taking place for quite some time at Dodger Stadium.

Los Angeles Dodgers veteran lefty Clayton Kershaw has no doubt had a storied career with great moments aplenty.

He’s been a Cy Young winner, an MVP, and a World Series champion over his 15-year career.

But back to this little trend that has been going on at Dodger Stadium.

It took place again last night as Kershaw walked off the mound at the end of his outing.

After allowing four runs over five-plus innings, Kershaw walked off the mound angrily.

Still, the crowd gave him a standing ovation, and one MLB insider absolutely loves this little trend.

Standing ovations for Clayton Kershaw while he's walking off the mound pissed off that runs actually scored is one of my favorite Dodger Stadium things.

Trending Angrily

This is a pretty hilarious trend that Dodger fans have going on right now.

When a guy is angry for giving up runs and storms off the mound afterwards, you don’t expect much lightheartedness from the fans.

Yet Dodger fans are enjoying doing this.

Hey, at least Dodgers fans are showing appreciation for their veteran stalwart after he pitches.

It’s much better than getting booed off the mound, something that happens at Yankee Stadium quite frequently.

Hopefully, Kershaw can right the ship for his next start so he doesn’t have to deal with this or his own anger.

Fans certainly hope for a better start next time, but hey, they are going to continue cheering on the legendary southpaw no matter how he performs.
