Next month, baseball will be back and teams will report to spring training.
For now, we sit through the remainder of the MLB offseason, but that wait won’t last long.
But in addition to spring training, there are other things to look forward to.
From February 17-19, the MLB Desert Invitational Tournament will take place.
This tournament was formerly known as the MLB4, and four NCAA teams would get together for a weekend in the Phoenix area.
This year, the tournament will be expanded to six teams and will be hosted in three locations throughout the Phoenix area.
MLB Network posted the news on Twitter.

This is an exciting way to grow the game and keep people interested.
It’ll also give us something to watch while we wait for spring training games to begin again.
With it now being expanded to six teams, this means more schools will have the opportunity to compete and be featured on MLB Network.
MLB Network of course will be broadcasting all of the games.
The games can also be streamed on MLB.com.
College baseball is certainly interesting, but baseball fans will finally get a chance to see some more action as six teams come together for this tournament.
The games will take place at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, Sloan Park, and Grand Canyon University.
The six teams involved will be Tennessee, Arizona, Grand Canyon University, Michigan State, Fresno State, and University of California San Diego.
The tournament will take place in just over a month and will be the perfect way to kick off baseball season.
