With just two days left before the official trade deadline, rumors are swirling all around Major League Baseball.
Speculation on where certain players will end up is all around us, and for one of the big names out on the market, it appears that there are three teams left in the running.
The Juan Soto sweepstakes are entering their final two days.
After Soto reportedly turned down a 15-year, $440 million offer from the Washington Nationals, it seems all but inevitable that he’ll be moved soon.
Bob Nightengale of USA Today has an update on who remains in the running for Soto and who may have the best chance to get him.
While the #Padres and #STLCards have been considered the front-runners for Juan Soto, the #Dodgers have been much more aggressive of late in their trade proposals.

Soto Sweepstakes Down To Three Teams
It appears that the Los Angeles Dodgers have entered the chat.
The San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals are said to be the frontrunners, but you can never discount the Dodgers when a high-profile player like this is available.
Of the three teams listed in Nightengale’s tweet, the Cardinals are probably the least likely to trade for Soto.
They like what they have in top prospects Jordan Walker and Masyn Winn, as well as Nolan Gorman, who made his debut earlier this season.
Their biggest need is pitching.
But the Padres are in a good position to try and land him.
This is a team that really is going for it.
Not that the other two teams aren’t, but the Padres appear to be the team in the best position to try and acquire Soto.
But again, you can never count out the Dodgers.
Things are about to get exciting as we wait and see who will ultimately land Soto.
Rumors are swirling everywhere.
