MLB has always been a league where there is a major turnover among the managers.
We have seen many legendary managers go from one team where they struggled to the next team where they had success.
That was the case with former Yankees and Phillies manager Joe Girardi.
He won a World Series with the Yankees before flopping in Philadelphia.
But it appears that Girardi has been offered another head coaching job.
This time in the college ranks.
According to Mark Feinsand, Girardi has been offered the head coaching job at the University of Central Florida.
Joe Girardi has been offered the head baseball coach position at the University of Central Florida, sources tell me and @juanctoribio. Girardi, who has managed the Marlins, Yankees and Phillies and won the 2009 WS, has not made a decision yet as to whether he will accept the job.

This would be an interesting step in the coaching career of Girardi.
From a World Series champion to a college coach is something that has never been seen.
But, if Girardi is looking to get back into coaching this may be his best option.
Yet coaching in the Major Leagues and coaching college could not be any more different.
Other than playing the same sport, everything else will be foreign to Girardi.
He will have to recruit players to come to play for him.
Also, the scheduling and facilities will be much different than he is used to.
While Girardi has yet to accept the job, it would be something worth watching if he does take it.
Many high school kids would be interested in the opportunity of learning from a World Series champion.
That could help Girardi’s recruiting pitch and give him a leg up over other college coaches.
