Game 2 of the ALDS between the Cleveland Guardians and the New York Yankees was originally scheduled for tonight at 7:37 p.m. Eastern Time.
However, rain is in the forecast for New York and MLB decided to postpone Game 2 until Friday.
The pitching matchup will stay the same, with Shane Bieber taking the hill for the Guardians and Nestor Cortes on the mound for the Yankees.
The game is now scheduled to start at 1:07 p.m. ET tomorrow.
Initially, the forecast for tomorrow did not look favorable, but MLB insider Jon Heyman provided an update on the situation, saying that the forecast now looks better than originally anticipated and Game 2 should take place tomorrow.

Game 2 Scheduled For Friday
This is good news for both teams.
If Game 2 were postponed another day, then the series would be severely truncated, with three days off between the first two games and Games 3, 4, and 5 being pushed back a day.
But it’s looking like the Guardians and Yankees will be able to get Game 2 in tomorrow.
Games 3 and 4 are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Cleveland, with Game 5 taking place on Monday if the series reaches that point.
If Game 2 were postponed another day, then Game 5, if necessary, would take place on Tuesday, the same day the NLCS is scheduled to start.
So, if the rain holds off, everything should be just fine for tomorrow.
The Yankees won Game 1 by a final of 4-1 behind a dominant effort by Gerrit Cole, who outdueled righty Cal Quantrill.
The Guardians will have a chance to even the series tomorrow, while the Yankees try and take a 2-0 lead into Cleveland.
