For years, there has been a growing sports rivalry between Mexico and the United States.
This is particularly true for soccer, but we might be witnessing the birth of a really tough rivalry between the two countries in baseball.
The World Baseball Classic might be the best platform for it.
Fans are already excited about the game, which will be on Sunday at Chase Field, in Phoenix.
Not only that, but tickets for the contest are already sold out.

Both the United States and Mexico have excellent teams for the event.
The Americans have MLB stars such as Mike Trout, Mookie Betts, Kyle Tucker, Trea Turner, J.T. Realmuto, Nolan Arenado, and others.
Mexico, on the other hand, has Julio Urias, Joey Meneses, Alex Verdugo, and several other talented major leaguers.
There is a sizable number of Mexicans living in Arizona, so there will likely be crowds from both teams cheering and making their support be felt.
The game is pivotal for both teams: a loss would leave them on the brink of elimination in a tough pool that also includes the pesky Canada and Colombia, plus the total mystery that Great Britain is.
One important thing to note: it will not be the first game for them in the tournament.
Mexico will face Colombia and USA will try to defeat Great Britain on Saturday.
In such a short tournament, the difference between starting 2-0, 1-1, and 0-2 is enormous.
We will see who gets the edge in the North American battle between two traditional baseball countries.
