MLB free agency has been wild, to say the least.
Twice this offseason, Carlos Correa signed a massive contract that ultimately fell through at the last minute.
The San Francisco Giants were the first team to experience that pain, having signed him to a 13-year, $350 million contract.
After the Giants had raised concerns over an ankle issue in his physical, the New York Mets stepped in and gave him a massive deal of their own.
Today however, the long-lasting saga appears to have finally reached its end.
Talks with the Mets also fell through for the same reason they had with the Giants, and Correa is headed back to the Minnesota Twins.
On Twitter, Cespedes Family BBQ posed an interesting question to fans, asking them if they would remember Correa’s Giants tenure or his Mets tenure more fondly.
What will you remember more fondly: Carlos Correa’s Giants tenure or Carlos Correa’s Mets tenure?

Ultimately, it may depend on who you cheer for.
If you’re a Giants fan, the choice is clear.
The same can be said for Mets fans, though things got even uglier there than they did in San Francisco.
Either way, both tenures were short-lived.
The popular consensus as of now is that the Twins aren’t terribly concerned with Correa’s ankle issue and that this time, the deal will become official.
So with that in mind, fans can now debate over which of Correa’s recent tenures was the most memorable.
Both ended badly for the teams involved, and it ended that way for the same reason, so there are some similarities.
But we’ll leave it for the fans to decide.
