Longtime MLB umpire Angel Hernandez is notorious for missing calls, especially at crucial moments in ballgames.
He’s been around a long time, but as the years go by, he doesn’t get any better at his job.
In fact, he’s already in midseason form, having called Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber out on strikes Sunday night on a pitch that was low and away.
Understandably, Schwarber went absolutely bananas and screamed at Hernandez, prompting an ejection.
But the roasting of Hernandez didn’t end there.
Jon Heyman of MLB Network took to Twitter at the end of the game after the Phillies lost 1-0 to the Milwaukee Brewers.
Let’s just say Heyman was preaching to the choir as he absolutely destroyed Hernandez in a hilarious tweet.

Boom, Roasted
This is a bold statement, but it’s true.
Also, you don’t really expect to see a tweet like this from Heyman.
Heyman is usually very mild-mannered and not overly cryptic.
But last night, Heyman went straight for the jugular.
Hernandez has been missing important calls for decades now.
Many hilarious memes have come from his failure to judge certain calls, such as the phone notification with “missed calls” from the man himself.
But it’s quite something to see someone as laid back as Heyman completely roast Hernandez.
But again, Hernandez kind of left himself open for that one.
He continues to miss important calls at key moments in games.
Heyman is 100% correct when analyzing the job Hernandez has done as an umpire over his many years in the game.
He’s not getting any better and he’s already most likely one of, if not the, worst umpires the game has ever seen.
