Deadline day is in full swing.
Yesterday, we saw some big moves be made.
Today, we’re seeing even more of that.
Teams are doing everything they can to gear up for a postseason push with two months left in the season.
The New York Yankees have had the best record in all of baseball since the start of the season.
They’ve also been very busy at this year’s trade deadline, acquiring both Andrew Benintendi and Frankie Montas.
MLB.com analyst Mark Feinsand thinks that another move is imminent, as he announced on Twitter that the Yanks are getting some interest in Joey Gallo, who has been on the block ever since New York acquired Benintendi.
According to sources, the Yankees are getting interest in Joey Gallo. It would be something of a surprise if he wasn’t traded by Tuesday’s 6:00 pm ET deadline.

Gallo On The Block
The trade deadline is at 6 p.m. Eastern Time today.
There are a lot of things that can still happen, and it seems increasingly likely that the Bronx Bombers will deal Gallo away and give him a new home.
It’s not known who the interested teams are, but it’s highly unlikely that he will be a Yankee by the end of the day.
Benintendi is essentially squeezing him out of a spot.
Gallo has not produced well during his Yankees tenure.
He does have 12 home runs this year, but he’s hitting just .159 and has a miserable .621 OPS.
He doesn’t appear to be getting hot anytime soon.
But perhaps a change of scenery could help him out, similarly to how it’s helped out his teammate, Matt Carpenter, who no longer had a fit in St. Louis and was not brought back.
Gallo could fit right in with a team that needs an extra power bat.
We’ll see what the rest of the day brings and if Gallo is ultimately dealt away.
