MLB has made it a priority to expand to other latitudes.
Baseball is a global game, as we always say, but it could always reach more places and captivate more people.
MLB has so much untapped potential with a concrete plan and its proper execution.
As a result of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations in the months leading up to the 2022 MLB regular season, the league scheduled several series abroad.
One of them is the 2023 London Series.
“Make sure you’re first in line for #LondonSeries tickets. Counting down the days until the @cardinals and @cubs meet at the @LondonStadium next June. Who’s gonna be there?,” MLB Europe tweeted.

The league also posted an attractive graphic and posted a link to get pre-sale access.
“Two huge rivals, one unmissable weekend,” was the message in the picture with St. Louis Cardinals slugger Nolan Arenado and Chicago Cubs ace Marcus Stroman.
Two Old Rivals Will Face Off In London
The two arch rivals will play two games, on June 24 and 25.
The Cubs and the Cardinals are one of the game’s greatest rivalries.
Both are seen as traditional franchises in the league, having been around for decades and accumulating glory and unforgettable moments throughout history.
Both squads will play to their best to show fans in the UK that MLB is worth following and watching.
The Cardinals, the reigning NL Central champions, are the better team at the moment, with Arenado, Paul Goldschmidt, Adam Wainwright, and other top stars.
The Cubs may be rebuilding, but they are ready to take the next step and are looking to inject more talent to their roster.
The showdown will be intense and attractive.
