The Hall of Fame Class of 2023 is set.
Fred McGriff was elected to the Hall of Fame back in December, but with several solid players on the ballot this year, there was bound to be at least one addition to the Hall.
And so, one player on the ballot made it to Cooperstown in 2023.
This year, it was Scott Rolen, who after six years finally got his chance.
But the Class of 2024 features some big names as well.
On Twitter, MLB Network posted a list of players who will be on the ballot for the first time next season when voting begins again.

Among the players returning to the ballot are Gary Sheffield, Carlos Beltran, Jimmy Rollins, Torii Hunter, Andruw Jones, and Todd Helton.
There are already plenty of talented players left over from 2023.
But players such as Adrian Beltre, Bartolo Colon, Chase Utley, David Wright, Matt Holliday, Joe Mauer, and Victor Martinez will be appearing on the list for the first time.
It would seem that players such as Utley and Beltre would be automatic.
But nothing can ever be assumed.
It only took Rolen six years to get his chance, and he was the only player on the ballot to be elected.
Either way, the Class of 2024 includes several new faces that are deserving of a chance to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
There will be several returning players on the ballot who are very likely to get another chance at the Hall as well.
