With the Little League Classic taking place last night between the Baltimore Orioles and the Boston Red Sox, we got a glimpse at what next year’s big game will look like.
In 2023, the Little League Classic will be a matchup of two division rivals yet again, but this time, it will be two rivals from the National League East.
Next year’s game will be between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Washington Nationals.
MLB announced on Twitter who the teams competing in next year’s Little League Classic will be during last night’s ballgame, showing a graphic featuring Bryce Harper and CJ Abrams and a caption that read, “See you next year, Williamsport.”

See You Next Year!
The Little League Classic is always a fun time and it’s a great experience for both the big leaguers and the Little Leaguers.
Next year, the kids will have a chance to meet some more great players such as Bryce Harper, Stephen Strasburg, Rhys Hoskins, J.T. Realmuto, Kyle Schwarber, and Nick Castellanos.
These are some of the most dynamic players in all of baseball today and it’ll be exciting for the kids to get the chance to meet more superstars, just as they do every year in the Little League Classic.
Each year, it’s fun and exciting for everybody involved.
It certainly was this year, and it will be again next year.
These kids will be able to say they had a chance to meet stars like the likes of Harper.
These are stars that every kid wants to meet and share a moment with.
That’s what makes this event so special.
It’s going to be a special event for years to come, as Major Leaguers and Little Leaguers get a chance to bond over baseball.
